We are a family oriented private practice Optometry and Ophthalmology office, dedicated to providing our patients with Exceptional Service and Quality Eye Care for your entire family. We offer comprehensive routine eye exams, diabetic eye exams, contact lens fittings, the area’s largest selection of eyeglass frames in a full service optical with over 1000 eyeglass frames to choose from to fit ANY budget, glaucoma treatment and management, cataract surgery, lasik consultations and after hours emergency eye care.

Although we try to meet our patients needs, we realize there will be times in which that is impossible. Because of this we have established strong working relationships with local eye surgeons and ocular micro-specialists to ensure that you will never have a problem getting the care you need.

While some practices in the state tell you it will be 2-3 months before they can see you, we will do our best to get you in for your routine exam within 2 weeks, and if you have a medical emergency we will work diligently to fit you into our schedule that day. We understand that life is busy and schedules are jam packed these days, so we try to make your experiences with us as pleasant and stess-free as possible.

That is why we have highly trained staff members in our optical every day.

Our friendly optical staff is ready to provide you with an atypical eyewear experience by giving you a personalized frame consultation focusing on the correct form, fit and fashion for any face type.  Once you look great in your new frames, your consultant will help you decide which lens options are right for your occupation and lifestyle.  Unlike most opticals, the staff at Torrington Eyecare DOES NOT work on commission, so you can be sure that you will pay for only what you need, not what product provides the best commissions.

Once you have found the perfect frame and lens options, a Doctor will take the precise measurements required to produce the best pair of glasses available.
